I know its been awhile since I've posted but its been crazy around here. I started a new temp to perm job and still working another job part time too. So my only day off is Sunday. I was so excited when I came home last night and found a box from my Favorite Color SP. I immediatly opened the box to find some goodies for me and bagel and pickle. I took a couple of pictures and hopefully I can find a computer that has high speed so I can down load them. I'm also ready to ship for my SP who I found out loves to knit socks. Hopefully she will like what I got her!

Favorite Color SP Questionaire

I joined my first Secret Pal group! I'm so excited. Here is my questionnaire.

Favorite Color Swap Questionnaire
1. What are your top three favorite colors?- Black, White Burgundy and Denim! I'm trying to branch out from just black and white.

2. What crafts do you really enjoy? I love my knitting, I tried to sew when I was young but never grasped it. I even have a new sewing machine and two containers of fabric, hopefully one day I try it again.

3. What products do you really covet? Depends on what for??? If its personal products I love origins and stuff from the body shop. Especially dry skin lotions.

4. What other activities do you enjoy besides your favorite crafty things? I love watching movies either at home or at the theater.

5. Is there anything you collect? Besides yarn? LOL I'm not a big collector, but I do like frogs. Hopefully one day one will turn into a prince! I like the cute ones with a smile.

10. Do you have any pets? What are they? Yes two Doxies Bagel and Pickle. Both I love taking pictures of!

I would really enjoy yarn that I can't find at our LYS. Also I'm not a sock knitter, but would like the challange of knitting something with one or two skeins! I've been trying to upload pictures of some of my WIP and FO but since I have dialup its been really slow! I'm going to try and work on it today!

Scarf Style/Wrap Style Knit-Along

I just started the Lady Eleanor Stole from Scarf Style. It's made out of SW Trading Co Karaoke #278. It's been fun to work with. I found the above blog that has been helpful. Check it out! I took a picture of my WIP and tried to download it but since I don't have dsl or cable it's been taking too long. I thought I would burn the pictures to a disk but at before 6 this morning it wasn't a good idea. Hopefully tonight! I just started on my second ball too....

The 4th and FO

I hope everyone had a Happy 4th. It was quiet around here. I sat and watched a lot of digital cable. I think I saw Must Love Dogs and Wedding Date four times yesterday along with Star Wars episode 3, what can I say I like to watch the same thing :).

I did get some knitting done. I also tried to upload some of my finished objects yesterday but it was really slow. So I only have two for now. Its the felted bowl from the One Skein book. It took It took me a couple hours to make. It took a little over one skein of Cascade's Pastaza.

The Boys!

I just learned how to upload photos to my blog! (Thanks Arianne). So of course the first photo's I have to share are of my boys!

This is Pickle. I adopted him from the Las Vegas Doberman rescue almost a year ago. He'll be two in August. He is the instigator! He love's to chase after Bagel! He also loves to visit the dog park and run crazy. But its been so hot here, we haven't gone.

And this is Bagel! He was a year in February. He loves to cuddle under the blankets. He has the cuttest little bark. It's more of a sqeek.

I'm giving them a bath today so hopefully I'll take some cute pictures and post them later.

Ok, I finally broke down and decided to start my own Blog. Hopefully I have enough to write about. This blog was started because I wanted a site that I can post pictures of family and friends as well as what's going on with my knitting. So I hope you enjoy and post comments. :)
